What is included in my race registration?
Your registration includes entry into the 8 mile, chip timing, official race shirt and upon finishing a unique finisher’s medal.
What’s the official start time?
The 8 miler will start at 7:00 AM.
Where is the start line?
The start line is in the Air and Space Museum parking lot at 2001 Pan American Plaza, San Diego, CA 92101
Is there race day registration?
Because this race is anticipated to sell out, we do NOT expect to have race day registration.
What if I registered but can no longer run?
All race registrations are non-refundable. You have two options: 1) Defer to 2020. You must email email@example.com to request your deferral by Wednesday, July 29th. 2) You can transfer to another participant. There will be a $10 transfer fee. Where do I pick up my race packet?
There will be an early packet pick-up on Friday, July 31st from 12 – 7 PM at Road Runner Sports, 5549 Copley Dr, San Diego, CA 92111. You can also pick up at the day of the race but we highly encourage you come the day before to beat the crowd!
Can I have the packet mailed to me?
We will not be mailing any packets.
Can someone else pick up my packet at the Friday packet pick-up?
You can pick up a packet for someone else as long as you show a copy of their photo ID and have a copy of THIS SIGNED WAIVER (picture on your camera of their ID is OK) .
Will the 8 miler be chip timed?
Where should I park for the race?
There are three parking lots near the start line. Please refer to the Important Information page for more details
Can I run with my dog?
We ask that you keep your dogs, cats, turtles or any other pets on the sidelines for this one as the trails and roads have some narrow passages. Thanks!

Does this event benefit an organization?
All event proceeds go to the San Diego Track Club, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to fostering and improving our amazing running community in San Diego.
